On the 20th of April pupils of the 9th and 10th forms had a conference devoted to the 452nd anniversary of William Shakespeare’s birthday. There was a report with the main facts from the biography of this outstanding English playwright. Pupils recited Shakespeare’s sonnets in English and their wonderful translations in Ukrainian and Russian languages, recollected his well-known plays. Then there was presented a project “William Shakespeare – famous English writer”, prepared by the pupils of the 11th form. Senior pupils also took part in the quiz “William Shakespeare”, answering the questions about writer’s life and his immortal works.
